Isuzu Rodeo Grilles

Outfit your Isuzu Rodeos front end with the proper grille for every day or for off-road car adventures. Grilles help keep your vehicle cool and free of debris, dust, and bugs.

What are aftermarket grilles?

All components not sourced directly from the manufacturer are technically aftermarket. However, there are authentic Isuzu-made grilles available in aftermarket channels. There are also private labels and aftermarket-branded grilles. These are grilles that arent sourced directly from Isuzu. Aftermarket and private-label grilles are similar to grilles by Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEM). The difference is that OEM grilles are factory-made, usually new, generally come with part numbers, and direct replacements of original Isuzu-made grilles.

How do you know which grille fits your vehicle?

When browsing prospective grilles, it is important to look for grilles made for your SUV model and year. This information appears within the product title or description. Most product description pages will include the Rodeo engine type, body type, and trim level that the grille corresponds to.

What materials are Isuzu Rodeo grilles made of?

Manufacturers engineer grilles to resist years of rough use, exposure to the elements, and infiltration of dust and foreign objects into your vehicle. Common grille materials include chrome, stainless steel, aluminum, and thermoplastic. Each material has its own unique density, properties, and benefits. Chrome, stainless steel, and aluminum are all very lightweight yet extremely sturdy, naturally resistant to rust and corrosion, and resistant to inclement temperatures. Thermoplastic is most often used for a grilles core with external coatings and finishes consisting of chrome.

How do you install Isuzu Rodeo grilles?

Grilles install in one of two ways, depending on how the grille is made. Insert grilles require you to remove your existing grille and to insert the new grille into the same frame. Overlay, or "bolt-on,” grilles install directly over your existing grille. This installation technique adds a textured look to your grille since the underlying grille is still remotely visible through the top grille. The added layer also enhances the protection against bugs and foreign objects that may enter your engine area while you drive.

Are Rodeo grilles mesh or billet style?

The Rodeo grille is available in both mesh and billet. Horizontal billet is the most common Rodeo grille style. Rodeo grilles are particularly unique because they include an overlay and an underlay. Overlays resemble oversized mesh, or gigantic honeycomb, with two layers of four large openings atop either a billet or mesh underlay. For certain variations, there are compatible grille guards or bull bars. These install over your grille, spanning the entire front end. Bull bars, also called "cattle pushers" or "push bars," provide another layer of protection from collisions.
