JBL is a U.S. based company owned by Samsung Electronics. Headquartered in California, JBL has a division that produces audio products for the home consumer market and another division for the professional and commercial audio line. JBL’s product lineup includes a series of audio products geared toward land and marine vehicles.

JBL's remote marine audio products and marine speakers are designed for boats, yachts, and other compatible water-based vehicles. The stereo audio products are engineered to withstand prolonged exposure to water, sunlight, and mud, which makes them also an ideal option for powersports applications. As a marine audio product, they are also designed to maintain stereo sound quality even in the water.

The company manufactures the following product categories, including marine speakers, under their marine series:

• Speakers and Subwoofers: The company offers 10 speaker models under its marines series that can be used for boats. Made from marine-grade materials, these speakers all have cast-polymer baskets and sealed structures. The options include the e MS65W, with its 6 1/2-inch (160mm) two-way, multi-element speakers and the MS10LW, with its 10-inch (250mm) multi-element subwoofer with RGB lighting. The product line comes in black and white options.
• Amplifiers: JBL’s marine series include the MA6004 and MA6002 amplifier series. Both products operate at 60W RMS, 4 channels at 4 ohms; 80W RMS, 4 channels at 2 ohms; and 160W RMS, 2 channels at 4 ohms. Maximum input signals for both models is at 6V.
• Bluetooth audio: The company has the Cruise line with a receiver for Bluetooth streamed music from any compatible device. The unit comes with a 65mm transducer. Its multi-point system allows connectivity with up to two devices. It weighs approximately 1215 gm and has dimensions of 101 millimeters by 123 millimeters by 147 millimeters.
